About us

You talk to the builder,
not an account manager.

SimplyGood is a developer-led studio. That one fact changes everything about how your project goes.

Why developer-led matters

At most agencies, you talk to a salesperson, who briefs a project manager, who briefs a designer, who hands off to a developer you'll never meet. Every handoff adds cost, delay, and misunderstanding — and you pay for all of it.

Here, the person who scopes your project is the person who builds it. Questions get answered in hours, not committee meetings. Changes take days, not sprints. And the technical quality — speed, SEO, clean code — isn't outsourced to the cheapest bidder, because it's the thing we care about most.

What we believe

  • A website is a business tool, not art. Beautiful matters, but "does it generate leads" is the only score that counts.
  • Speed is a feature. Every build targets 90+ on Google PageSpeed, because slow sites lose customers silently.
  • Plain English, always. If we can't explain a recommendation without jargon, we haven't thought it through.
  • You own everything. Domain, hosting, code, content. Agencies that hold your website hostage give this industry its reputation.
  • Honest fit. If you don't need what we sell — or someone else would serve you better — we'll tell you on the first call.

How a project actually runs

No discovery phase that bills for three weeks of meetings. Five steps, start to finish:

  1. A short call. Fifteen minutes on what your business does, who you need to reach, and what the site has to achieve. If we're not the right fit, you'll hear that here rather than after a proposal.
  2. A fixed quote. One price, one timeline, in writing, within a business day. It doesn't move later — no discovered scope, no change-order games.
  3. Structure before design. We map the pages and the keywords they target before anything gets styled, because a beautiful site aimed at searches nobody makes is an expensive brochure.
  4. Build and review. You see it on a live staging URL as it comes together, not as a flat mockup. Feedback goes straight to the person making the changes.
  5. Launch and hand over. Speed and SEO verified before going live, then the domain, code, content, and analytics are transferred to accounts in your name.

What we don't do

Being clear about this saves everyone time:

  • No long contracts. Build projects are fixed-scope and fixed-price. Ongoing maintenance is month to month if you want it, and optional if you don't.
  • No hostage hosting. Your site isn't locked to a proprietary platform. If you leave, everything comes with you and keeps working.
  • No guaranteed #1 rankings. Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is telling you something useful about themselves. We guarantee the technical foundation — speed, structure, schema, and content built for the searches that matter.
  • No enormous enterprise builds. Custom marketplaces and complex web applications aren't what we're set up for, and we'll say so early.

Who we work with

Small and mid-sized US businesses that live on leads: home services, medical and dental practices, law firms, gyms and studios, restaurants, real estate, and new businesses getting online for the first time. If your customers search for you before they call you, we can help.

We work remotely with businesses in every state, with dedicated local pages for our most active markets and industry-specific builds for the trades and practices we know best. Most projects launch in two to three weeks; pricing is published rather than quoted on request.

Common questions

Who actually builds the site?

The person you speak to on the first call. There's no handoff to a junior team or an offshore contractor, which is the main reason quality stays consistent and questions get answered the same day.

What happens if I want to leave later?

Everything is already yours — domain, code, content, and analytics live in accounts in your name from launch day. There is nothing to release, no export process, and no exit fee. The site keeps working exactly as it did.

Do you work with businesses outside your listed cities?

Yes. The city pages cover our most active markets, but the work is remote and we build for businesses in every US state. The process, pricing, and turnaround are identical wherever you are.

How long does a typical build take?

Two to three weeks for most business websites, from the first call to launch. The main variable is how quickly you can get us content and feedback — the build itself rarely holds things up.

What if I already have a website?

Then the first question is whether it needs replacing or fixing, and those are genuinely different projects. Sometimes a speed and structure overhaul on an existing site is the better spend, and we'll tell you if that's the case rather than selling a rebuild.
